Local Conservative Party Chairman, Richard Wilkinson - pictured on the extreme right - joined a group of party activists recently, meeting Lord Michael Dobbs, the author of House of Cards, to campaign for a NO vote in the Referendum.
Scottish Conservative and Unionist No. 1 Candidate Ian Duncan joined Annabel Goldie MSP on a campaign visit to North Ayrshire on Monday 5th May as part of his wider campaign tour across Scotland. He visited Ardrossan and Largs and spoke to residents about their concerns in the run up to polling day on the 22nd May.
Local Conservatives gave support today to a leafleting campaign by Better Together, the cross-party campaign to keep Scotland part of the Union at the Referendum in September this year. The theme was ‘Leaving the UK means waving goodbye to the security of the UK Pound’.
Congratulations to Annabel Goldie, West of Scotland Conservative MSP, who made her maiden speech in the House of Lords today. Her speech during a debate on Scottish Independence was well received by her new colleagues.
